⚙️ Google's tools are strong on their own. But with Gemini, it becomes an ecosystem.

🔗 How do Gemini’s integrations work?

Gemini can connect to all your Google services:

  • Gmail
  • Google Docs
  • Google Sheets
  • YouTube
  • Google Drive

After that, Gemini:

Analyses emails, documents and files,

Generates reports:

Finds the information you need:

Creates tables and charts

Pulls the essence out of YouTube videos and PDFs

🔐 How to connect it?

  1. Go to Settings → Apps

  2. Enable access to Gmail, Drive, YouTube and other services

  3. Make sure the permissions are granted

💡 You can turn off, say, the travel services if you don’t need them

📩 Gemini + Gmail

Gemini can:

  • find the right emails among dozens of newsletters,
  • extract the key ideas,
  • summarise an email’s contents,
  • generate a reply on your behalf

🎥 YouTube + Gemini

Gemini can:

  • analyse a video from a link,
  • surface insights,
  • point out what’s said at which minute,
  • highlight tips, examples, metaphors

📁 Google Drive + Gemini

What it can do:

  • search for the right PDF, DOC, XLSX files on request,
  • summarise the contents,
  • filter by date, author, topic

Gemini can:

  • add formulas
  • build charts and progress bars

How we built a habit tracker:

  1. We asked Gemini to create a table:
Create a habit tracker as a table with date columns from June 1 to 10 and rows "Sleep", "Nutrition", "Workout". Add an "export to Sheets" button

  1. Next we need to add progress as a percentage — for that we ask Gemini, which is already built into Google Sheets, to do it:

The "Gemini" button:

  1. Here we ask Gemini to create a FORMULA for us to paste into cell M2.
I want to put a % total for the checkboxes that run B2:K2 into cell L2
- the percentage of completed habits. I need a formula ready to paste.

We paste the resulting formula into the right cell using the “Insert” button

  1. Now we want to add a progress bar. If we just ask to add a progress bar, it might add the most primitive one. So we ask it to create a Sparkline formula

Gemini is great at combining:

  • Finds a PDF on Google Drive → analyses it → creates a table → emails it

  • Searches for a video on YouTube → summarises it → generates an action plan in Google Docs
